The CAT6-LAN Category 6 primary surge protector is the only choice for
protecting sensitive network routers, WAPs, PBX/KSUs, and workstations from
lightning and transient voltage surges. The 4 pair version uses the patented Linx
Cat 6 Circuit Technology
™
to ensure total protection. For use with high
performance 4 pair Cat 6 Outside Plant Cables as well as Cat 6 UTP cables.
100% solid-state protection for fast reliable response to surge events, UL listed
per UL497 for building entrance protection, and meets TIA568 for Cat 6
performance. Cat 6 performance verified by independent laboratories.
Features:
• UL Listed for Primary (497) and Isolated Loop (497B) applications. UL
listing is critical for ensuring safety and performance of protection devices.
• Meets and exceeds TIA/EIA Standards 568-B.2-1 and 758 for Category 6
performance. The TIA 758 standard requires use of a building entrance
protector on Cat 6 campus / outside plant applications.
• Solid-state protection provides the fastest response to transient voltages
(2–5 nanoseconds) by quickly diverting damaging surges to ground.
• Protects 4 pair LAN applications with 16 V clamping voltage or 4 pair
voice applications with 75 V or 235 V clamping voltage.
• Use between buildings in a campus environment as a building entrance protector
or in hostile industrial applications as an isolated loop protector.
• Lifetime Product Warranty—This surge protector shall be free of any defects in
design, materials or workmanship or ITW Linx will repair or replace the defective
product.
