plate slot. Pull the plate firmly from the center to remove from
the slot.
• Apply a 50/50 solution of warm water and ammonia or a strong
grease cutting detergent with plate placed firmly in the hand.
• Scrub with a sti brush if necessary. (Be careful not to drop the
plate or scrub o the silicon)
• Clean both the metal screen and the ceramic tile of the plate.
• Rinse plate in hot water and dry completely before reinstalling. (You
may use a hair dryer to dry the plate if available.)
• Reinstall the ceramic ozone plate, making sure it is secured then put
back the filters and tighten the back cover.
• Plug unit into a grounded electrical outlet, turn on the unit and start
enjoying clean, fresh air.
To clean needle-point ionizer
• Turn o the unit and unplug it from the outlet.
• Remove the front fan grill. The needle-point ionizer is located in
front of the fan near the two (2) pieces of wire.
• Take a Q-tip or cotton swab dipped in alcohol and clean any dust
that may have accumulated on the needle-points. This process may
be done when plates are being cleaned. (While you have the front
grill o the unit, you may also clean the fan and grill itself.)
To clean the fan
• Make sure the unit is o and unplugged.
• Wipe the blades with a damp cloth.
• Let dry before reinstalling fan grill.
To clean fan grill cover
• Make sure the unit is o and unplugged.
• Unscrew the four (4) bolts and remove the fan grill.
• Use warm, soapy water to clean the grill.
• Wipe down the grill until completely dry before reinstalling.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you suspect a problem with your unit, check the following:
• Make sure plate is clean (see above).
• Unit is plugged in properly and turned on.
• Wall outlet is active.
