SettingUpYour“Other”EmailAccount
If you have other e‐mail account(s), you can configure your Ogo to send and
receive email for those accounts (subject to the conditions imposed by your
wirelessoperator).
IfyouaresettingupanaccountthatdoesnotappearintheOgo’slist ofpredefined
e‐mail accounts, you will
need to have the complete account information ready,
includingtheusername,E‐mailprotocol,incomingserverandoutgoingserver.
► Tosetupyour“other”e‐mailaccount:
1 Select Othere‐mail account asthe e‐mail provider in the Add E‐mail Account
screenorSetupWizard.Youarepromptedtoenteryourlogininformation.
2 IntheE‐mailaddress field,insertyoure‐mail address.(Besure toinclude the
domainname.)
3 InthePasswordfield,insertyourpassword.
Note: The letters are displayed one at a time as you insert them; upon
inserting the next letter the previously entered one is masked by an
asterisk.
4 InthePasswordfield,enteryourusername.
5 IntheDisplaynamefield(optional),enterthenameyouwanttobedisplayed
toyourIMcontacts.
6 SelectOK andpress Enter/Select. You are promptedto enter the followinge‐
mailaccountconfigurationinformation:
7 In the E‐mail protocol list, select the appropriate e‐mail protocol (POP3 or
IMAP4).
8 IntheIncomingserverfield,enterthenameoftheincomingmailserver.
9 IntheOutgoingserverfield,enterthenameoftheoutgoingmailserver.
Note: Ifyoudonothaveyourincomingandoutgoingserveraddresses,please
contactyourE‐mailprovider.
10 SelectOKand pressEnter/Select.
If you add the e‐mail account from the Settings screen, the wizard completes
andthe E‐Mailtabof Settings isdisplayed.The Editbuttonis displayedin the
row for the e‐mail provider and a tab is added for the e‐mail
account in
Messagesscreen.
Ifyouaddthee‐mailaccountthefirsttimeyouuseyourOgo,youmaysetup
additionale‐mailaccount(s)orselectFinishtoclosetheSetupWizard.
