“ON/OFF” button
Press to power on/off the eLevel.
“CAL.” button
Press to perform calibration process. See “CALIBRATION”
section for instructions.
“HOLD” button
Press to freeze your measurement and the direction arrows
on two sides will blink. The current angle reading locks on
LCD. Press again to unlock and back to measuring mode.

Canceling Calibration
You may cancel the Calibration at any time during the process by switching the eLevel off.
Step 1.
Find a surface that is clean, flat, and as horizontal as possible. Place your eLevel on the surface and
switch on the device.
Step 2.
Press the “CAL.” button. The display starts countdown “-C-“, “-3-“, “-2-”…“-0-“ until the “CAL 1”
shows in the display. During the countdown, make sure the eLevel remains still in the position.
Step 4.
Press the “CAL.” button again. The display starts countdown “-C-“, “-3-“, “-2-”…“-0-“ until the “CAL 2”
shows in the display. During the countdonw, make sure the device remains still in the position.
After finishing the above procedure, the accuracy of the unit is recalibrated back to the
manufacturer’s specification.
Turn around the eLevel 180° as
shown in the figure and now the
battery compartment side face you.
It is important to make sure the
device stays in the same position
as in Step 2.

If Step 3 is not correctly executed, an error message “Err” will be shown on the LCD,
then you need to re-do the calibration from Step 1.

IMPORTANT: It is the responsibility of the user to verify the calibration of the eLevel before each
use.
To ensure the effectiveness, the calibration should be operated on a flat surface within 3° of level.

When working overhead, the display turns accordingly so that it is always readable.
Inclination indication
The directional arrows on right and left side of the display indicate which way to move the eLevel
to achieve level or plumb (0°~45° to the horizontal and 45°~90° to the vertical). For angles
within 0 ±0.05° and 90 ±0.05°, the arrows disappear.
Low battery indication
This symbol appears when the battery voltage is getting low. Change the battery to assure the
accuracy of measurement.
Measuring units
Degree (°) unit is for inclined angle measurement.
