4. FIRST AID MEASURES
First aid measures
General Advice Immediate medical attention is required. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in
attendance.
Eye contact Rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for
at least 15 minutes. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Do not rub affected area.
Seek immediate medical attention/advice.
Skin contact Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. May cause an allergic skin reaction.
In the case of skin irritation or allergic reactions see a physician.
Inhalation Remove to fresh air. Get medical attention immediately if symptoms occur.
Ingestion Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Most Important Symptoms and Effects Causes serious eye irritation. Symptoms may include stinging, tearing,
redness, swelling, and blurred vision. May cause severe damage to the eyes.
Itching. Rashes. Hives. May cause sensitization by skin contact. May cause an
allergic skin reaction. Erythema (skin redness). May cause skin irritation.
Prolonged contact may cause redness and irritation of the skin.

Notes to Physician May cause sensitization of susceptible persons. Treat symptomatically
5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable Extinguishing Media
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Unsuitable extinguishing media
CAUTION: Use of water spray when fighting fire may be inefficient.
Specific hazards arising from the chemical
Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors. In the event of a fire and/or explosion do not
breathe fumes. May cause sensitization by inhalation and skin contact. Product is or contains a sensitizer. May cause
sensitization by skin contact.

Protective equipment and precautions for firefighters
As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full
protective gear.
