LD-63HS Overflow Alert Detector
The LD-63HS overflow alarm detector can be used in
bathrooms, basements etc., where water detection is
required. It is powered locally from alkaline batteries. In
case of detection of water leakage a built-in siren goes
off. In the same time the normally opened contact of
the output relay can trigger an alarm system. Steam or
small water droplets won’t trigger alarm.
Technical Specification
Power supply 3 x AAA alkaline batteries – 1.5 V (batteries included)
relay output max. 100 mA / 60 V
built-in siren 100 dB / 1 m
operating temperatures -10 °C to +40 °C
Average batteries lifetime 1 year
Complies with the essential requirements of: 89/336/EC EMC Directive - Protection concerning
electromagnetic compatibility when is used for its intended purpose. Original of the conformity
assessment can be found at the web page www.jablotron.cz
, section Technical support.
Installation
The sensor bracket should be attached to a clean, firm place. You can use a double-sided adhesive tape
or a screw for its installation. Insert the sensor into the bracket (contacts downwards). The detection unit
should be fixed with a velcro, which enables battery replacements.
In order to connect the overflow alert detector to a security system, use the provided cable. The output
relay closes when the sensor is flooded.
Battery insertion
Unscrew 2 screws from the detector´s cover. Insert 3 AAA alkaline batteries (1.5 V). Mind the correct
polarity. Close and screw the cover. Put the switch to ON position. The siren will beep shortly and the
detector is ready. You can test the device by flooding the sensor or touching it with a wet finger.
Note: Dispose of batteries safely depending on the type of the batteries and local regulation. Although
this product does not contain any harmful materials we suggest you to return the product to the dealer or
directly to the producer after usage.
