OPERATIONINSTRUCTIONS
PREPARATION:Beforeproceedingwiththestart‐upoftheunit,verifythefollowing:
Thedrainstopperisinstalled;
Thestrainersareinstalled;
Thepawlbarisinstalledandsecure;
Theactuatorswitchesmovewithrelativefreedomanddonotbind;
Thecurtainsareinstalledcorrectly
POWERUP:Toplacetheunitinstandby,presstheStartButtononthefrontofthemachine.
Theunitwillautomaticallydetermine ifthereisa properwaterlevel inthewashtank.Ifnot,the
unitwillbegintoilluntiltheappropriatelevelisreached.
Ifthewashtanktemperatureisnotattheminimumlevelforthemodeofoperation,thewashheat‐
erwillenergize.Refertothemachinedataplateforabetterunderstandingoftheminimumtemper‐
aturesneededtooperatetheunitcorrectly.Itmaytakeseveralminutesforthewashtanktoheat
up,dependingontheinitialtemperatureofthewater.
Ifyourmachineisequippedwitharinseboosteroption,notethebooster shallturnon whenthe
unitturnson.
Ifyourmachineisheatedwithasteambooster,thenyouwillneedtoturnonthesteamboosterin
accordancewiththemanufacturer’sinstructions.
Itisimportantthatyoudonotattempttostarttheunituntil:
Theunitstopsilling;
Theunithasreachedtheappropriatewashtanktemperature.
FIRSTRACK:Theirstrackofwarethatyouplaceintotheunitusuallyhastheeffectof veryquickly
reducingthetemperatureofthewashtank.Thisisbecauseyouareintroducingcoldmaterialsintothedish‐
machineenvironmentandtheunithastocirculatewatertogettheheatingcyclegoing.Youmayhavetorun
theirstrackthroughtheunitagain.Anytimetheunithasnotbeenoperatedforanextendedperiodoftime
thisispossible,butunlikely. Thisisusuallydependentonthetypeofwareyouareusing,itstemperature
andtheambienttemperatureofthekitchenarea.Alwaysobservethetemperaturesofthewashandrinse
whenirststartingtheunittoensureproperoperation.
WAREPREPARATION:Properpreparationofwareisessentialforthesmooth,eficient operation of
yourdish‐machine.Ifdoneproperly,youcanexpecttohavefewerre‐washesandusesubstantiallylessde‐
tergent.Anywareplacedinsidethemachineshouldhaveallsolidfoodwasteandscrapsremoved.Itisrec‐
ommendedthatwarealsobesprayeddownpriortoentryintothedish‐machine.
Placecupsandglassesupsidedown inrackssotheydonotholdwaterduringthecycle.Presoaklat‐
wareinwarmwatertoassistingettingstuck‐onmaterialoff.Loadplatesandsaucersinthesamedirection
(withthesurfacefoodisplacedonfacingtowardstheunloadendofthemachine).
WASHINGARACKOFWARE:Thedish‐machineisdesignedtowashwareplacedinarack.Underno
circumstanceshouldanymaterialsbeplacedinsidetheunitthathavenotbeenproperlysecuredintoadish
rack.
Tostartthecycle,gentlypushtherackintotheunitontheloadend.Oncethewashactuatorhasmoved
suficiently,theunit willautomaticallybegin toconvey thedishrackthroughtheunit.Theentirecycleis
automatic.
