INSTALLATION

These kits are equipped with a built in positive shut-off valve. They are not mixing valves.

Any of JACLO’s pressure balance valves or JACLO’s 1/2" thermostatic valves with built in

volume controls can be used as the primary positive shut-off and mixing valve for a

temperature control.

1. Install a 1/2” NPT pipe nipple so that it extends 5/16” to 1/2” beyond the nished wall

when fully tightened.

2. Run water through system to ush out dirt and debris.

3. Use appropriate sealant when threading xture onto pipe nipple.

4. Connect the hose to the body and to the handshower; hang up handshower.

5. Pressurize the unit and check to ensure no leaks are present while under pressure and

while handshower is in use.
