Relamp This End
1. Cut and remove wire/cable tie from smaller end cap located
opposite handle and electrical cord.
2. Remove end cap by gently prying off tube with a screwdriver
or similar tool.
3. Carefully remove shock from inside tube.
4. Grasp lamp puller and gently but rmly pull lamp out of
socket and remove from outer tube. Remove lamp puller from
old lamp and dispose of lamp properly.
If old lamp is not broken, there is a vacuum inside and break-
ing the lamp can be dangerous. A spent lamp contains low
levels of mercury, the disposal requirements of which vary by
state. See www.lamprecycle.org. Clean inside of outer tube if
necessary.
5. Install lamp puller on new lamp as shown. This will assist in
removing lamp the next time.
6. With lamp puller facing product label, place new lamp/lamp
puller assembly into outer tube and align pins with receiver
holes in socket.
7. Gently but rmly push lamp down into socket and seat pins in
receiver holes. Make sure they are fully engaged.
8. Replace shock and pull lightly on lamp puller to straighten.
9. Replace end cap, making certain cap is fully seated in groove
of tube.
10. Secure end cap with cable/wire tie (enclosed) of 150-lb.
