(2) Receiving an Individual Call

The screen at right will be displayed, and the
alarm will sound growing louder gradually.
The example message contains the following
information.
- Format: Individual call
- Caller’s MMSI: 111222333
- Type: All modes radiotelephone
- Work channel: CH16
- EOS: ACK is requested.

Press the CANCEL key to stop the
alarm and display the screen at right.
This step is omissible.

If possible to communicate immediately,
lift the handset from the cradle and start
the communications.
¾ In this example case, enabled to select the
response from below with the jog dial.
・OK/Lift handset: Starts communications
immediately.
・Unable/NACK： Sends "Unable to comply"
message with that reason.
・Cancel： Returns to the status display
without handling this message.
¾ When completed the communications, return the
handset to the cradle.
