After the transmission, the channel will be set
to 16 automatically.

When acknowledged, the screen at right will
be displayed and the alarm will sound
growing louder gradually. Then lift the
handset and commence distress traffic for
the ship in distress.
¾ The ALM lamp blinks in sync with the alarm sound.
¾ Only to silence the alarm, press the CANCEL
key when displaying the screen at right.
