There are three methods of transmitting a distress
call. These methods are described below in order
of ease of use, with the easiest first.
Transmitting Distress Calls 1
Procedure
1. Open the cover on the left and press .
The following screen is displayed.
• If stop the distress transmission, press .
2. Press for 3.5 seconds continuously.
• If stop the distress transmission, release .
3. The following screen is displayed and the distress transmission is started.
If a printer is connected, it prints out the distress message.
The distress message is transmitted for 5 times successively.
• If break the distress transmission, press .
