Inspect interior and

1. Cut piece of string
slightly longer than
height of frame or
panel.
2. Pull tightly and
stretch string to

Keeper loose or damaged Tighten if loose, replace if damaged

Operator damaged Replace operator.
Operator arm has disengaged from sash or needs

Crank operator teeth inside handle could be

Replace operator handle.
