EASY INSTALLATION STEPS: 1. Measure 2. Order 3. Install Before You Begin* Before selecting your windows, make sure the existing window frame is square, level, and plumb. • • S quare: Measure the diagonals of the existing window frame from corner to corner. Measurements must be within 1/4". If not, contact a professional to make corrections. Set aside for reuse. Step 2 Cut the cords running to the upper sash. (Caution: Many older windows have hidden sash weights attached to the sash with a cord. Before you remove the sash, cut these cords with extreme caution. Ease the weights down until the cord goes slack. Leave weights inside the frame.
