Installation Instructions
for F-4500 Retractable Screen System (JII-90043)
INSTALL SILL SCREEN ADAPTER
3. Remove and apply a 1/8" bead of sealant to the backside of the
sill screen adapter where it will contact the top of the threshold.
The sill screen adapter may be installed. If not,
follow the installation steps below:
4. Apply the sill screen adapter to the interior threshold of the
wall system and fasten using the provided #8 x 1/2" pan-head
screws. NOTE: To avoid stripping, ONLY tighten until snug.
1. Dry-t the sill screen adapter to the interior threshold of the
wall system.
2. Using a 1/8" drill bit, pre-drill through the fastener holes located
on the sill screen adapter.
