to prevent excessive smoking, discolora-
tion of the oven racks or possible damage
to utensils.

vent smoking, flare-ups or flaming.

ing the cooktop, door, window or oven

Heating dements maybe hot even though
they are dark in color. Areas near surface
dements and interior surfacesof an oven
may become hot enough to causeburns.
During and after use, do not touch or let
clothing or other flammable materials con-
tact heating dements, areas near dements,
or interior surfaces of oven until they have
had sufficient time to coo[.
Other potentially hot surfaces include:
Cooktop, areas facing the cooktop, oven
vent, and surfaces near the vent opening,
oven door, areasaround the door andoven
window.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING

kitchen or in rooms where the fumes from

sensitive respiratory system. Fumes re-
leased during an oven self<leaning cycle
may be harmful or fatal to birds. Fumes
released due to overheated cooking oil, fat,
