Thisrangehasbeendesignedin accordancewith the
requirements of varioussafety agencies and complies with
the maximum allowable wood cabinettemperatures of 194°E
If this range is installed with cabinets that have a lower
working temperature than 194°F,discoloration, delamination
or melting may occur.
Placerange in a well lit area. Do not set range over holes in
the floor or other locations where it may be subject to strong
drafts. Anyopening in the wall behind the range and in the
floor under the range should be sealed. Makesure the flow
of cooling/ventilation air is not obstructed belowthe range.
Note:A range should NOTbe installed over kitchen carpeting.
HighAltitudeNotice: Thespecified gasburner ratings
typically apply to elevations upto 2000 feet. For higher
altitudes, the ratesmay needto be reducedto achieve
satisfactory operation. A local certified gasservicer will be
able to advise if a reductionis necessary

A risk of range tip-over exists if the appliance is not installed in
accordancewith the provided installation instructions. Theproper use
of the ANTI-TIPdeviceminimizes the risk ofTIP-OVER.In using this
device the consumermust still observe the safety precautions as
stated in the USEand CAREMANUALand avoid usingthe ovendoors as
a step stool. Installationinstructions are provided for wood and cement
in either floor or wall. Anyother type of construction may require
special installationtechniques as deemednecessaryto provide
adequatefastening of the ANTI-TIPbracket to the floor or wall. The
bracketmust be installed to engagethe RIGHTrear levelingfoot. Install
the bracket as shown in step 2.
MOBILEHOMES
Theinstallation of a range designed for mobile home installation must
conform with the ManufacturedHomeConstructionand Safety
Standard,Title 24 CFR,Part 3280 (formerly the FederalStandardfor
MobileHomeConstructionand Safety,Title 24 HUD,Part 280)or, when
such standard is not applicable, the Standard for Manufactured Home
InstallationsANSIA225.1/NFPA501A,or with local codes. In Canada
the range must be installed in accordancewith the current CSA
Standard C22.1- CanadianElectrical CodePart 1 and Section Z240.4.1
- Installation Requirementsfor GasBurning Appliancesin MobilHomes
(CSAStandard CAN/CSA- Z240MH).

conform with state or other codes or,in the absenceof such codes,
with the Standard for RecreationalPark Trailers,ANSIA119.5-latest
edition. In Canadathe range must be installed in accordancewith
CAN/CSA- Z240.6.2 - Electrical Requirementsfor R.V.'s(CSAStandard
CAN/CSA- Z240 RVSeries)and Section Z240.4.2 - Installation
Requirementsfor PropaneAppliancesand Equipmentin R.V.'s(CSA
Standard CAN/CSA- Z240 RVSeries).

Electric Supply
Theappliance,when installed, mustbe electrically groundedin
accordancewith localcodesor,inthe absenceof local codes,with the
National ElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70. InCanadathe rangemustbe
installedinaccordancewith thecurrentCSAStandard C22.1-
CanadianElectricalCodePart1.
Electrical Supply Connection
Therange requires 120volts,60 cycle alternating current from a
dedicated grounded outlet with a 15 ampcircuit breaker. Seeserial
plate for rating, located on front frame behindstorage drawer. User
may experience occasionalcircuit tripping if GroundFaultCircuit
Interrupter (GFCl)outlet or breaker is in use.
