SITE PREP
3. CHECK THE WATER SUPPLY
Water supply meets local plumbing codes.
Water shutoff in base cabinet, as shown,
or accessible area.
Access hole through the cabinet is within 1/2"
(1.3 cm) of the rear wall.
Install any additional tubing only where
temperatures remain above freezing.
Check for leaks.
Not using a piercing-type or 3/16" (4.8 mm)
saddle valve. See refrigerator dealer for
saddle-type valve kit that complies with
local plumbing codes.
If water pressure to reverse osmosis system
is less than 40 to 60 psi (276 to 414 kPa):
Check sediment filter to see if it is blocked.
Replace filter if necessary.
Allow the storage tank to refill after
heavy usage.
Remove the water filter cartridge.
No filter bypass is necessary.
