SMART DRYER
Smart Dryer User Interface (aka HMI)
The CONNECT buon (A) is used during the inial connecon of the Smart Dryer to the home area network (HAN). The Smart
Grid Indicators (B) indicate the grid energy demand. The Blue indicator will be lit during mes of OFF-PEAK energy and the
amber indicator will be lit during mes of PEAK energy demand. The Connecvity Status Indicators (C) provide status of Remote
Start, WiFi, and Smart Delay. The WiFi indicator will be lit when dryer is connected to home area network (HAN).
NOTE: For complete details, see “Connecvity Buons and Indicators in Secon 4: “Diagnoscs and Troubleshoong.

Current Transformer(s)
The Current Transformer is a common cross-category design
that acts like an amp probe to measure enre machine current
so that actual power can be calculated. In the Smart Dryer, the
one (gas dryer) or two (electric dryer) current transformer(s)
are located behind the rear panel next to the AC terminal
block.
