INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

FOR RECESSED MOUNTED CABINET

(SURFACE MOUNT APPLICATIONS

REQUIRE A SURFACE MOUNT KIT)

PREPARATION

1. Carefully remove packaging materials. Hardware, shelves, and

door are located within the various packing materials. Place

hardware packages, shelves, and door aside until needed.

NOTE: For ease of installation, the assistance of an additional

person is recommended.

INSTALLATION

1. Determine the desired location for the cabinet on the wall.

Mark wall to show wall opening width and height (see chart

above). Generally, the recommended height of bath

cabinets is 64” from the finished floor to the center of the

cabinet. (Fig. 1) However, height may be adjusted to

individual preference.

2. The cabinet may be mounted with door opening to the right

or left side. Rotate the cabinet, top to bottom, to reverse

the door opening direction.

NOTE:

The rough wall opening must be free of obstructions. If

wall studs, plumbing, or electrical lines interfere with

the rough wall opening they must be removed /

relocated. This must be done in accordance with local

and national codes and it is recommended that the

services of a plumber or electrician be obtained.

3. Cut wall opening, being careful not to damage the surrounding

wall surface or any existing wiring or pipes that may be behind

the wall section being removed. Insert framing to support all wall

edges.

4. Insert mounting screws into the plastic bases (Fig. 2).

5. Level and plumb cabinet in center of wall opening. Use shims as

necessary. Use 4 mounting screws to attach cabinet to wall

studs (Fig. 3). Tighten screws until they are flush with the

housing. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Over tightening may bend

housing sides and prevent proper shelf installation.

NOTE:

Do not use nails to attach the cabinet.

6. Snap the screw covers over the screw bases (Fig. 4).

DOOR INSTALLATION 1. Remove hinges and screws from hinge hardware bag. 2. Become familiar with the hinge attachment and removal process prior to mounting the hinges (Fig 5). Hinge mounting brackets are attached to the housing side. 3. Mount hinges to the door (Fig. 6). Secure with screws provided. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE HINGE MOUNTING SCREWS. Use a Phillips screw driver to tighten these screws by hand - just to where they feel snug. 4.

INSTALLING 125° LIMIT TO 170° HINGE 1. Open cabinet door 90° from closed. Locate the oval / oblong slots located top and bottom of the hinge between the second and third knuckle. Hook one end of limit clip into the upper slot. Gently press down and in until the bottom of the clip snaps into the lower slot. Check the installation by opening the door past 90° until the clip causes resistance. The clip should prohibit the door from swinging past 120°, but allow the door to close freely. (Fig.

MIRROR CARE      Use only clean warm water and a clean, soft, lintfree cloth. DO NOT USE cleaners that contain solutions of ammonia, vinegar, or chlorine. DO NOT USE powdered cleansers or steel wool. Never spray cleaning agent directly on mirror, especially on exposed edges and mirror backing. Apply cleaner to soft cloth and wipe mirror. Dry mirror thoroughly. Keep mirror dry. A well ventilated bathroom is important.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA PUERTA 1. Retire las bisagras y tornillos de la bolsa con los accesorios para bisagras. 2. Familiarícese con el proceso de colocación y desmontaje de bisagras antes de montar las bisagras (Fig. 5). Los soportes de montaje de las bisagras están colocados en el lateral de la carcasa. 3. Monte las bisagras en la puerta (Fig. 6). Asegure con los tornillos provistos. NO AJUSTE EXCESIVAMENTE LOS TORNILLOS DE MONTAJE DE LA BISAGRA.

INSTALANDO EL LIMITE DE 125° A LA BISAGRA DE 170° 1. Abra la puerta del gabinete 90° antes de cerrar. Localice los Fig. 10 espacios óvalos / oblongos ubicados arriba y abajo de la bisagra entre el segundo y tercer nudillo. Enganche un lado del broche de limite en el espacio de arriba. Presione suavemente hacia abajo y hacia adentro hasta que la parte inferior del broche de limite encaje en la parte inferior del espacio.

CUIDADO DEL ESPEJO      Utilice solo agua tibia y limpia y un paño limpio y suave sin pelusas. NO UTILICE productos de limpieza que contengan soluciones de amoníaco, vinagre o cloro. NO UTILICE limpiadores en polvo o lana de acero. Nunca rocíe productos de limpieza directamente en el espejo, en especial en los bordes expuestos y en la parte trasera del espejo. Aplique un producto de limpieza a un paño suave y limpie el espejo. Seque el espejo por completo. Mantenga el espejo seco.
