MSR2107 SAFETY INFORMATION When Boating Keep the volume level Iow enough to be aware of your surroundings. Protect from Water Do not submerge or expose the product directly to water, as this can cause electrical shorts, fire or other damage. Protect from High Temperatures Exposure to direct sunlight for an extended period of time can produce very high temperatures inside your vessel. Give the interior a chance to cool down before starting playback.
MSR2107 INSTALLATION Before You Begin Wired Commander Mounting Before you begin, always disconnect the battery negative terminal. 1. Important Notes 2. • • • • • Before final installation, test the wiring connections to make sure the unit is connected properly and the system works. Use only the parts included with the unit to ensure proper installation. The use of unauthorized parts can cause malfunctions.
MSR2107 Tuner/Amplifier Mounting 1. Choose a mounting area for the tuner/amp module that will provide plenty of ventilation to prevent the amplifier from overheating. The tuner/amp module can be mounted in the horizontal or vertical position. Please note that when mounting in vertical position, do not mount with the harness exit points facing straight up, as water can collect around the chassis in these areas. 2. Attach the 4 rubber mounting feet, provided, to the bottom of the tuner/amp metal plate.

MSR2107 System Menu Scroll 1. When the information is too long to be displayed on the LCD, press and hold the INFO/ SCROLL button (12) to view the entire title. The information will scroll twice and then return to abbreviated text. 2. 3. 4. Press and hold the AUDIO button (3) for more than 3 seconds to enter the system menu. “MENU” will appear on the display, followed by the first menu item, “CONTRAST.
MSR2107 TUNER OPERATION Automatically Store / Preset Scan (AS/PS) 1 13 4 2a 14 Automatically Store 20 11 3 Select a band (if needed). Press and hold the AS/PS (15) button for more than three seconds to automatically select six strong stations and store them in the current band. MSR2107 iPod OPERATION This unit is equipped with an iPod ready function that will allow you to control your iPod (if compatible) using the control panel control buttons. The following iPod versions are supported: • • • • • • Selecting Tracks During playback, press the TUNE/TRK |<< / >>| button (18/19) to play the previous or next track in the current category. Press the TUNE/TRK |<< button (18) once to play the song from the start position or press TUNE/TRK |<< twice to play the previous track.
MSR2107 USB OR FLASH MP3/WMA OPERATION • This unit supports the USB host function. It can play MP3 and WMA audio format files stored on USB flash memory and most USB music devices. This unit can also play files copied from a USB device to internal FLASH memory (see “Copying Music Files to FLASH Memory” on page 11). • • NOTE: This unit does not support portable hard disks.

MSR2107 CARE AND MAINTENANCE • • • • • TROUBLESHOOTING Keep the product dry. If it does get wet, wipe it dry immediately. Liquids might contain minerals that can corrode the electronic circuits. Keep the product away from dust and dirt, which can cause premature wear of parts. Handle the product gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage circuit boards and cases, and can cause the product to work improperly. Wipe the product with a dampened cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.

MSR2107 OPERACIÓN DE USB O FLASH MP3/WMA Esta unidad soporta la función de conexión por USB. Puede reproducir archivos de formato de audio MP3 y WMA almacenados en memoria flash USB y la mayoría de los dispositivos de música USB. Esta unidad también puede reproducir archivos copiados de un dispositivo USB a la memoria FLASH interna (Ver “Cómo Copiar Archivos de Música a la Memoria FLASH” a la página 25). • NOTA: Esta unidad no soporta discos duros portátiles.
MSR2107 Modo Copia de Archivo/Carpeta Durante Reproducción Normal Carpeta/Archivo Hacia Arriba • En modo USB, presione el botón preprogramado 6 /\ (10) para mover una carpeta hacia arriba. • En modo USB, presione y mantenga para mover 10 carpetas hacia abajo. • En modo FLASH, presione y mantenga para mover 10 archivos hacia abajo. Esta opción sólo puede realizarse cuando reproduce un archivo de música MP3/WMA. Método de Navegación/Búsqueda de Archivos o Carpeta de Dispositivo USB 1.
MSR2107 Operaciones de Borrado de Archivo/ Carpeta de Música Borrar en Modo de Reproducción Normal 1. Durante la reproducción de archivo de música MP3/WMA presione y mantenga el botón BAND (16) para activar el modo "ERASE FILE (Borrar archivo)" 2. Presione el botón BAND por primera vez para seleccionar "ERASE FOLDER (Borrar carpeta)". 3. Presione el botón BAND por segunda vez para seleccionar "ERASE ALL (borrar todo)" (en modo FLASH, la función es "FORMAT FLASH (formatear flash)").

MSR2107 Montage de tuner/amplificateur 1. Choisissez un emplacement de montage pour le tuner/amplificateur qui va fournir assez de ventilation pour empêcher l'amplificateur de surchauffer. Le module tuner/amplificateur peut être monté soit dans une position verticale soit dans une position horizontale. Notez que lorsque vous montez dans une position verticale, ne montez pas avec les points de sortie de harnais en haut puisque l'eau peut accumuler dans le châssis dans ces régions. 2.

MSR2107 OPERATION USB O FLASH MP3/WMA Cet appareil soutient la fonction hôte USB. Il peut jouer des fichiers à format audio MP3 et WMA mis en mémoire sur la mémoire flash USB et la plupart des dispositifs de musique USB. Cet appareil peut aussi jouer des fichiers copiés d'un dispositif USB à la mémoire flash interne (voir « Copier des fichiers musique à la mémoire FLASH » á la page 39). • A NOTER : Cet appareil ne soutient pas de disque dur portatif.
MSR2107 Copier Fichier/Dossier pendant le mode de reproduction normale Dossier/Fichier vers le haut • En mode USB, presses le bouton préréglé 6 /\ (10) pour vous déplacer d'un dossier vers le haut. • En mode USB, pressez et maintenez pour vous déplacer 10 dossiers vers le haut. • En mode FLASH, pressez et maintenez pour vous déplacer 10 fichiers vers le haut. Cette operation ne peut être performée que lorsque l'on joue un fichier musique MP3/WMA. 1. 2.
A NOTER : Si vous copies du dispositif USB à Flash, et l'appareil ne peut pas copier normalement ou Flash n'a pas d'espace libre, l'affichage aux cristaux liquides va afficher « Write Error » ou bien « Memory Full » pendant 3 secondes, et puis va procéder à la prochaine chanson et commencer à jouer. MSR2107 SOIN ET ENTRETIEN • • • • • DÉPANNAGE Gardez le produit sec. S'il devient moite, essuyez tout de suite. Des liquides peuvent contenir des minéraux qui peuvent endommager les circuits électroniques. Gardez le produit loin de la poussière et d es ordures, qui peut prématurément usé les parties. Manipuler le produit doucement et avec soin. Si vous le laissez tomber, cela peut endommager les bords de circuits, et peut produire un mauvais fonctionnement du produit.
