OPERATION
Connecting headphones
• This device is equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack (8) to which you
can connect most commercially available headphones or earphones (not
included).
• If headphones or earphones are connected to the headphone jack, the
built-in speaker will be deactivated automatically.
Antenna
• For FM reception, this device is equipped with a telescopic antenna(6).
• Pull the telescopic antenna out completely and turn it to in the direction in
which you get the best reception.
Radio
• Put the switch STANDBY/FM (5) to position FM in order to turn on the
radio. The ON LED (3) lights up red.
• Put the switch STANDBY/FM to position STANDBY in order to switch the
radio into standby mode.
• Note for mains operation: In order to separate the device from the
power supply, unplug the power cord.
• Set the desired frequency with the TUNING control (2).
