can be connected to this device and music can be played over the
loudspeakers.
Attention: Before connecting your external playback device, please
also read the operating instructions for information regarding safety
instructions and usage with other devices.
Turn off this device and the external playback device.
Connect the external playback device using a stereo cable (Ø3.5 mm).
The cable is not included in the scope of delivery.
Connect the stereo cable with the AUX IN jack (7) and put the other
end into the headphone jack or the LINE-OUT jack of the playback
device. If the external device has a smaller or larger socket, then use a
corresponding adaptor (not included in the scope of delivery).
First turn on the external device and set the volume to zero. Then turn this
device on and set the volume to MIN.
Slide the switch STANDBY/FM (5) to position FM.
Now you can regulate the volume of both devices. If this device is
connected via the LINE-OUT jack on the external device, then regulate the
volume on this device.
However, playback is controlled using the external device.
Please note that if you only turn off this device, the external playback
device will continue playing.
