Automatic switch-off

• The device has an automatic switch-off function. You can set a switch-off time of 90 to 10 minutes.

• During operation press the SLEEP button (43) repeatedly in order to reduce the switch-off time in 10

minutes increments. Adjust the remaining time to switch-off.

• After a few seconds, the previous display appears and SLEEP is displayed.

Notes:

• You can switch off the device with the STANDBY button (33) before the switch-off time has elapsed.

• If you use the automatic switch-off function in CD mode, it is possible that the CD plays to the end before

the automatic switch-off. For example, if you have set a switch-off time of 90 minutes but the CD has only

played for 45 minutes, the CD will be played to the end before the switch-off time.

Set time

• After the power cord is connected into an outlet, blinkt --:-- ﬂashes in the LCD display (1).

• The time can be set in standby mode or in all other modes.

• Press and hold the MEM/C-ADJ. button (45).The display shows 24 HOUR.

• Press (53) or (41), to select 24 or 12 hour time format. Conﬁrm your selection with the MEM/C-

ADJ. button.

• The hour digits will ﬂash. Press (53) or (41), to set the hour and conﬁrm with the MEM/C-ADJ.

button. Set the minutes in the same way.

• After setting and saving the minute digits, the time is displayed and the device will switch to standby mode

(without backlight).

Notes:

• If you do not press any buttons for 10 seconds, the time setting will be discontinued and the display will

switch to standby mode.

• The settings are erased if you pull the plug or switch off the device by the power switch (29). Then reset

the time.
