USB FLASH MEMORY AND SD/MMC MEMORY CARD
• Make sure the device is in standby mode. Insert the USB flash memory carefully into the USB jack (21), and
the SD/MMC memory card into the memory card slot (4).
• Switch on the device by pressing the STANDBY button (33).
• Press the FUNCTION button (36) to select the operation mode USB for USB flash memory or SD/MMC for
memory cards.
• The functions for MP3/WMA-CD also apply to USB drives and memory cards. For more information please
refer to chapter CD Player.
• Do never remove the USB flash memory or the SD/MMC memory card from the connector when you are just
playing a track. Always stop the current track with the stop button (42).
• Change the operating mode or switch off the device completely before removing the USB flash memory or
the SD/MMC card from the jack/slot. This prevents damage of the USB flash memory, the SD/MMC card and
files.
Notes:
• The USB jack (21) can be used with standards 1.1 and 2.0.
• If you are not using the USB jack, always put on the included rubber cap
• The device only supports USB storage and SD/MMC memory card with a capacity of up to 2 GB.
• The device can only playback MP3 or WMA audio files.
• Due to changing technologies, it may happen that certain USB storage or SD/MMC cards are not compatible
with this device.
• Do not use USB extension cable to connect your USB memory with the USB jack. It can cause interference
which can affect music playback. In extreme cases, the USB memory may be damaged.
