SECTION 3 - MACHINE CONTROLS AND INDICATORS

NOTE: To operate the Drive Joystick, pull up on the lock-
ing ring below the handle.
NOTE: The DRIVE control levers are spring-loaded and will automati-
cally return to neutral (OFF) position when released.
12. Drive/Steer
Push forward to drive forward,
pull back to drive in reverse.
Steering is accomplished via a
thumb-activated rocker switch on
the end of the steer handle.
13. Main Telescope
Provides extension and retraction of the main
boom.
14. Lights (If Equipped)
Operates accessory light packages if the
machine is so equipped.
15. Jib Lift
Provides raising and lowering of the jib.
16. Soft Touch Override Switch (If
equipped)
Enables the functions that were cut out
by the Soft Touch system to operate again at creep speed,
allowing the operator to move the platform away from the
obstacle that caused the shutdown situation.
