Air Intake System
A. Air Filter Check
1. Perform “Shut-Down Procedure” on page 4-3.
2. Open engine cover.
3. Locate air cleaner (1) and remove dust from vacuator valve (2) by squeezing bottom
of valve to allow loose particles to fall out.
4. Close and secure engine cover.
Note: Only remove cover to service elements as restriction indicator indicates. Excessive
access to check elements can lead to premature element failure.
