Remote control
Remote control operation

• Point the remote control unit no more
than 3 meters from the remote control
sensor and within 60° of the front of
the unit. The operating distance may
vary according to the brightness of the
room.
Note: If the remote control unit fails to
work even when it is operated near the
player, replace the battery.
Battery installation for the
remote control
1. Remember to remove the insulating
mylar strip from the battery if the
remote control is being used for the
rst time.
2. Press and hold the battery release
tab in the direction of arrow

3. Pull out the battery holder completely
in the direction of arrow

as shown
on the below.

4. Remove the old battery.

5. Place a new battery in the holder.

Note :
• The battery in the Remote Control
normally lasts for about one year,
although this depends on how often
and for what operations the Remote
Control is used.
• Use a 3V lithium battery (No. CR2025
or equivalent).
• Be careful when you press the slot
of the battery compartment with your
ngernails only as this might break
them.
• Remember that small button cell
batteries such as used in some
hearing aids, toys, games and other
appliances, are easily swallowed
by young children and this can be
dangerous.
• Keep loose button cells away from
young children.
• Seek medical advice if you believe a
cell has been swallowed.
