This device contains licence-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s) that comply with Innovation, Science and
Economic Development Canada’s licence-exempt RSS(s). This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
Operation is subject to the follow-ing two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause interference.
(2) This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of
the device.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a residential instal-lation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interfer-ence will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
— Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
— Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
— Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
— Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Limited by local law regulations, version for North America does not have region selection option.
This radio transmitter IC: 279A-FWVAV has been approved by Innovation, Science and Economic
Development Canada to operate with the antenna types listed below, with the maximum permissible gain
indicated. Antenna types not included in this list that have a gain greater than the maximum gain indicated
for any type listed are strictly prohibited for use with this device.
Gain of antenna: 2 dBi max
Type of antenna: 50 Ohm Dipole
Gain d'antenne: 2 dBi maximal
Type d'antenne: 50 Ohm Dipole
To satisfy FCC
&IC RF exposure requirements, a separation distance of 20 cm or more should be maintained between the
antenna of this device and persons during device operation.
To ensure compliance, operations at closer than this distance is not recommended
Les antennes installées doivent être situées de facon à ce que la population ne puisse y être exposée à une
distance de moin de 20 cm. Installer les antennes de facon à ce que le personnel ne puisse approcher à 20
cm ou moins de la position centrale de l’ antenne.
Compliance
