System Configuration
Follow these steps to configure the Surgical Media Center.
1. Tap Configuration.
2. Tap SMC.

3. The system displays an SMC dialog box. Tap the appropriate button to choose one of the
three options. You can choose from:
Off – The surgical media center function is disabled.
On – The surgical media center function records continuously, even between cases.
Automatic – The SMC function records only during cases, not between them.
NOTE: A foot pedal switch can be set up to activate the surgical media center record
function.
4. Tap Finished to accept the change and close the SMC dialog box.
5. Tap Exit to close the Configuration screen.
