Error Messages, Troubleshooting, and Diagnostics
To replace the battery in the VERITAS Foot Pedal and Advanced Linear Pedal:
1. Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the battery cover.
NOTE: The screws cannot be separated from the cover.
2. Remove the battery.
NOTE: Dispose of the used battery in the proper manner.
3. Insert a new battery.
NOTE: Ensure to align the positive and negative ends of the battery.
NOTE: Do not install a damaged battery.
4. Replace the cover and tighten the screws.
Battery Replacement – VERITAS Remote Control
To replace the batteries in the VERITAS Remote Control.
1. Turn to the bottom side of the remote.
2. Use a flat screwdriver to remove the two screws.
3. Remove and properly dispose the used batteries.
4. Install two new DURACELL
®
COPPERTOP AA batteries.
5. Close the battery compartment and tighten the screws.
6. Test on a VERITAS Vision System to ensure the remote is fully functional and verify the
battery percentage is renewed.
