Battery Installation As shown in figure, remove the battery door and put two “AA” alkaline batteries into the battery compartment according to the polarity indicated. Snap the battery cover back into place. Note: Used (discharged) batteries are hazardous waste and should be disposed of properly. 7.

Using the angle scale as a guide, mark the point on the floor that corresponds to the angle you want to establish (point B). 3. Rotate the laser so that the 0º angle scale is on point B. Make sure that the laser beams still intersect at point A.

Care and Handling • This laser unit is a precision tool that must be handled with care. • Avoid exposing unit to shock vibrations and extreme temperatures. • Before moving or transporting the unit, make sure that the unit is turned off. • Remove the batteries when storing the unit for an extended time (more than three months) to avoid damage to the unit should the batteries deteriorate. • Always store the unit in its case when not in use.
