3. Remove control box cover
screws and cover using Phillips
screwdriver. (Figure 9)
4. If the trolling motor has
AutoPilot it must be removed
as follows:
a. Disconnect all six
AutoPilot connectors from
AutoPilot controller, using
a needle-nose pliers and a
utility knife to remove any
heat shrink insulation that
may exist. (Figure 10)
b. Remove the AutoPilot
controller from the head
of the trolling motor.
(Figure 11) This is done by
pushing out the locking tabs
then lifting the circuit board
out. Finally lift out the
compass.
