These ratcheting cable slitters are designed to dismantle heavy-duty cables. The RCS-25 and RCS-30 both slit and ring
round cables greater than 1” (25 mm) in diameter, and the RCS-30 can also be used to make window cuts in ducts up to
5 mm thick. These slitters feature the following:
• Slit and ring cables made of PVC, PE, rubber, and other jacket materials
• Fixed jaws and ratcheting feature make it easy to grip and slit heavy-duty cable
• Perfect for mid-span or end cable slitting and ringing
• 10, 20, and 30 mm ruler marked on tools for accurate and precise slitting lengths
• Blades are made of steel, ground, and heat-treated for a razor-sharp edge and long term durability
• The aggressive narrow blade design of the RCS-30 allows for mid span entry into ducts and can create widow cuts in
the ducts if needed
• Replaceable double-ended blades have an adjustable cutting depth of 0 to 5 mm (0” to 0.20”). The RCS-25RB is the
replacement blade for the RCS-25 and the RCS-30RB is the replacement blade for the RCS-30
