ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
**SHUT OFF ELECTRICAL SUPPLY AT CIRCUIT BREAKER**
1. Remove all parts carefully from the carton. Arrange bags containing glass parts according to the row number labeled on the outside
of the bag. Do not throw away any parts.
2. Remove mounting plate (A) from canopy (D) by unthreading screws (E).
3. Lift mounting plate (A) to the ceiling outlet box. Once aligned in the desired position, use a pencil to mark the locations
of mounting holes (B) on the outside edges of the mounting plate.
4. Set the mounting plate aside and drill small holes at the marked locations. Holes should be sized so anchors (K), provided, t snug
inside the opening. insert wall anchors into drilled holes.
5. Lift mounting plate (A) to the ceiling. Pull the wires from the outlet box through the center of the mounting plate. Attach mounting
plate (A) to ceiling outlet box using screws (C). Thread screws (L) through holes (B) and into wall anchors (K) for additional
support in attaching the mounting plate to the ceiling.
6. Lift canopy (D) to mounting plate (A) and make proper electrical connections in steps 7-9. A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN IS
RECOMMENDED.
7. Attach ground wire from xture (green or silver in color) to ground wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together with wire nut (M).
Wrap connection with electrical tape.
8. Attach hot wire from xture (black in color or smooth side of wire to hot wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together with
wire nut (M). Wrap connection with electrical tape.
9. Attach neutral wire from xture (white in color or ribbed side of wire) to neutral wire from outlet box. Fasten wires together
with wire nut (M). Wrap connection with electrical tape.
10. Carefully push wire connections back into ceiling outlet box. Slide canopy (D) over mounting plate (A). Thread screws (E) back
into holes in the canopy (D) to secure xture to the mounting surface.
11. Install one 60W max., Type A, medium base, silver tip bulb (included) into socket (G).
12. Carefully hang the glass pieces on the canopy, working from the inside (Row 1) to the outside (Row 5). NOTE: there are three
dierent lengths of glass pieces - short (H), medium (I) and long (J). See Figure 1 for row placement on canopy (D). Remove glass
piece from bag. Hang the glass piece by threading the end of the chain onto the threaded tubes (F) extending from canopy (G) in
the correct corresponding row.
13. Row 1, long chains (J) (7 total), should be placed on the innermost row of threaded tubes (F) surrounding sockets (G).
14. Row 2 and 3, medium length chains (I) (14 total), should be placed on the two rows of threaded tubes (F) surrounding Row 1.
15. Row 4 and 5, short chains (H) (14 total), should be placed on the two rows of threaded tubes (F) surrounding Row 2.
16. Reconnect power and test xture.
** To clean, use soft cloth only. Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners. **

*This xture is UL rated for dry locations.
