Installation Sheet
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To clean, wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth, then wipe dry. To ensure long
lasting luster, harsh abrasives or polishes should be avoided. Your specific
model may vary.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before beginning the installation, determine your needs, and if necessary
consult the store where you purchased your faucet for valve and adapter
recommendations.
BEFORE STARTING THE PROJECT, SHUT OFF HOT AND COLD WATER SUPPLIES.
If you are removing an existing faucet, remove the faucet from the sink and clean sink thoroughly.
STEP B: CONNECTING THE SPRAY HOSE
From beneath the sink, connect the hose to the short tube’s end
fitting. Tighten the screw on the connector, be sure to secure the
end of the tube from twisting while tightening, assemble the two
halves of the balance weight onto the spray hose (see picture
for placement location). Pull spray hose back and forth to check
for smooth operation. Attached pull-out spray head to hose. Be
sure included washer is inside hose.
STEP C: CONNECTING THE SPRAY TUBES
Hot supply tube is indicated with a red mark. Attach water
supply lines (sold separately) to faucet lines and valves. Use
a wrench to hold the copper faucet lines in place when
tightening supply lines. This will help prevent twisting and
kinking. Tighten firmly (careful not to over-tighten) until a seal
is achieved.
STEP D: FLUSH AND CHECK FOR LEAKS
Turn on hot and cold water supplies; cheak for leaks. Remove the pull-out spray head from the
house. Point the hose into the drain and turn on the faucet, hot and cold mixture, for 1 minute.
Re-attach the spray head to hose. Run water again and check all connection for leaks.
SINGLE HOLE SINK (Without escutcheon)
1. Set the faucet into the sink hole.
2. From underneath the sink, first, slide the mounting gasket, second, slide
the metal mounting washer and finally, the seat nut (with screws facing
downward) up the hoses to the threaded shank. Thread the nut up to the
sink. Do not tighten down the screws until the faucet is aligned properly.
The faucet is aligned properly when the spout travels the same distance,
side to side. Once it is aligned, tighten the seat nut screws.
