Installation Instructions for D53XXX series drains

1. Remove the strainer assembly.

2. Assure that the primer tap is in place and tighten unless it is to be used.

3. Cut drainpipe to assure the proper height is attained.

4. Clean all loose material and dirt from the drainpipe opening.

5. Apply adhesive prep material per the manufacturer’s directions.

6. Apply the adhesive per the manufacturer’s directions.

7. Install the drain to the drainpipe while following the adhesive

manufacturer’s directions.

8. Test the drain per local code.

9. After the finished flooring has been completed re-install the strainer

assembly.
