The micro-USB port provides the display with power and the required data for the touchscreen function. This port needs to be connected to a USB-port of a Raspberry Pi or a Windows computer. The HDMI-port is necessary for the transmission of the image data. Which of the two included HDMI-cables is used, depends on the source of the image. If a Raspberry Pi 4B is used, the HDMI-cable, which features one smaller end, is needed (HDMI to MicroHDMI).
