NUMBER OF PLAYERS
Jumbo Jet can be played by three to six
players, one of whom acts as the bank.
AIM OF THE GAME
To earn as many Jumbos as possible by
ying routes and collecting landing fees.
PREPARATIONS
Place the game board on the table.
The players each select an airline. They
each get a Jumbo Jet from the airline,
a route arrow and eight landing rights.
Each player also gets starting capital
of 250,000 Jumbos (1 x 100,000; 1 x
50,000; 7 x 10,000; 2 x 5,000; 4 x 2,000;
and 12 x 1,000).
The other money is taken care of by
the bank, which also regulates bank
payments. The fl ight schedules and the
chance cards must be well shuffl ed and
placed face down on the appropriate
spaces on the game board. Each player
takes a fl ight schedule card from the
stack for free.
START OF THE GAME
The players decide who starts. The fi rst
player places his or her aircraft at the
start of the runway. This player starts
carrying out the fi rst fl ight schedule.
There are three options here:
1. DIRECT FLIGHTS
Place your route arrow on the destination.
You fl y directly to this city. See example 1.
2. FLIGHTS WITH INTERMEDIATE
STOPOVERS
Place your route arrow on the fi nal
destination. You fl y to this city via the
city indicated on the arrow. See example 2.
3. WORLD TRIPS
You do not use your route arrow for these
ights. You take a World Trip departing in
a direction of your choice. See example 3.
FLYING
The aircraft’s fl ight speed is determined
by the fi gures thrown on the dice. Choose
your departure direction in order to get
to your destination and take off from the
runway. If you throw a double, you
