1. Place the rack in its permanent locaon, allowing adequate clearance for airow and maintenance, and secure it to
the building structure.
2. Remove the device from the shipping carton.
3. Read General Safety Guidelines and Warnings.
4. Aach the ESD grounding strap to your bare wrist and to a site ESD point.
5. Secure the mounng brackets to the sides of the LWC using eight screws and the screwdriver. You’ll noce there are
three locaons on the side panel where you can aach the mounng brackets: front, center, and rear. Aach the
mounng brackets to the locaon that best suits where you want the LWC to sit in the rack.
6. Li the LWC and posion it in the rack. Line up the boom hole in each mounng bracket with a hole in each rack
rail, making sure the LWC is level.
7. While you’re holding the LWC in place, have a second person insert and ghten the rack mount screws to secure the
mounng brackets to the rack rails. Make sure they ghten the screws in the two boom holes rst and then ghten
the screws in the two top holes.
8. Check that the mounng brackets on each side of the rack are level.
