Starting the appliance SchnellkŸhlen function ¥ The temperature setting buttons are located at the top of the appliance on the control panel. ¥ Insert the plug into the plug socket. ¥ Press ON/OFF button (2).The green mains pilot indicator (1) illuminates. ¥ The interior lighting comes on. The compressor starts and then runs automatically. To switch off the appliance, press the ON/OFF button (2) until the display goes off. ¥ Press either the Ò+Ó (3) or Ò-Ó (5) button.
On the bottom of the refrigerator compartment, just above the LONGFRESH 0¡C compartment, you can easy place can and bottles in horizontal position. The structure of this area will prevent the bottles and cans from moving around. ¥ To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the central door shelf can be adjusted in height. ¥ Gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the arrows until it comes free, then reposition as required.
Super Frost function ÒVital & frischÓ 0¡C compartment The Super Frost function accelerates the freezing of fresh food and, at the same time, protects foodstuffs already stored from undesirable warming. ¥ The Super Frost function is switched on by pressing the Super Frost button (7). The yellow light illuminates (6). If the Super Frost function is not ended manually, the appliance electronics switch off the Super Frost function after 48 hours. The yellow light goes out.
0¡C compartment - Interior Accessories Hints Drawers ¥ The wire shelves inside the drawers permit that air can circulate freely and consequently a better conservation of foods. ¥ The top drawer is equipped with a removable divider. ¥ Depending on the individual need the divider can be placed in different positions. Thereby various food can be stored clear and separated. Storage conditions are equal in both sections.

Maintenance Unplug the appliance before carrying out any maintenance operation. Warning This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its cooling unit maintenance and recharging must therefore only be carried out by authorised technicians. Defrosting Refrigerator compartment ¥ Defrosting the refrigerator compartment is automatic. The defrost water drains out through a trough into a container at the back of the appliance, above the motor compressor, where it evaporates.
Something not Working Problems may be due to causes which can easily be solved before calling the Technical Service. Please follow these instructions: SYMPTOM SOLUTION Door does not close Weight surpasses the storage limit of the door shelf so spread weight more evenly or take some products out. The appliance is not properly installed. Please look in the ÒBuilding-inÓ section. It is too warm inside the refrigerator Set a lower temperature.
Technical specifications The technical data is indicated in the rating plate on the left side inside the appliance. If there is a power failure when food is in the freezer, do not open the door of the freezer compartment. The frozen food will not be affected if the power cut is of short duration (up to 12 hours) and the freezer compartment is full, otherwise, it is recommended that the food should be used within a short time (a temperature increase of the frozen food shortens its safe storage period).
