standards. Before attempting installation of any lighting fixture, check your local electrical building code. This code sets the wiring

and installation requirements for your locality and should be understood before starting your work.

Description: 4RLS & 6RLS products include a LED light fixture, hardware, and wire nuts for mounting to a standard electrical box.

4RLS products can also be mounted to most 4" type IC or Non-IC recessed light fixtures with optional accessory kit 4RLSRETROKIT.

6RLS products can also be mounted to most 5" and 6" type IC or Non-IC recessed light fixtures with optional accessory kit

56RLSRETROKIT.

Mounting: These fixtures mount directly to most standard metallic & non-metallic electrical boxes with 2-3/4" to 3-1/2" hole spacing

that are at least 1-1/2" deep. This includes 3-1/2" & 4" octagon boxes, round mud-rings for octagon and square boxes, and 3" & 4"

non-metallic round boxes. Products are suitable for mounting on ceilings or walls, and are acceptable for use within closet storage

spaces when installed per NEC requirements.

Products are suitable for installation in damp

locations. Products are suitable for installation

in wet locations (indoor covered ceilings

only) when sealed to mounting surface with a

waterproof sealant such as silicone caulk (see

Figure 1).

These products meet ENERGY STAR

dimming requirements, and are compatible

with incandescent, magnetic low voltage,

or electronic low voltage wall box dimmers.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS For 4RLS & 6RLS Series Surface Mount LED Lighting Fixtures Installation 1. Bring positive, neutral, and ground supply conductors (120V, 60Hz) to the room side from junction box. 2. Remove strap from fixture, and attach to junction box with supplied screws (see Figure 2). Ensure marked side of strap is oriented towards junction box (see Figure 3). 3. Connect black fixture wire to positive, white fixture wire to neutral, and green wire to ground.
