2 Preparation
T Open the cover of the filler funnel for ground coffee.
The ;, : and _ symbols light up.
T Place one level measuring spoon of ground coffee into the
filler funnel.
T Close the cover of the filler funnel.
The < and > symbols light up.
T Touch the Espresso symbol <.
Preparation starts. The preset amount of water for coffee
flows into the cup.
Preparation stops automatically. Your D4 is once more ready
for use.
There is a danger of scalding from hot water splashes.
T Avoid direct contact with the skin.
Precondition:Your D4 is ready for use.
T Place a cup under the hot-water nozzle.
T Turn the switch to the§ position.
The light segment on the switch flashes, water flows out of
the hot-water nozzle.
T When there is enough water in the cup, turn the switch back
to the °position.
Your D4 is once more ready for use.
