INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

GRIP-RIM® PLUS* BOWLS

Step 1.

Locate correct position in countertop for cutout, left-to-right as well as

front-to-back. Make cutout accurately, 3/4" less in width and in length than

overall size of bowl (See other side of sheet). Corners of cutout may be

square or any radius up to 1/2". For corner sinks, use bowl as template

and make cutout 3/8" smaller than bowl size off each edge.

Step 2.

Nail spring clips to edge of cutout, seating the ange of the clip of top

edge of cutout to server as guide and to keep the clip straight. Locate a

clip 1" from each corner on each side. Space remaining clips evenly and

drive nail all the way in.edge.

Step 3.

Install the countertop, without the bowl, onto the cabinets. Place a small

amount of caulk or putty around the underside of bowl rim at edge of self-

rim bead. Position bowl in cutout so that the downward prong rests on the

spring clips. Push down rmly on two sides of bowl and it will snap snug-

gly into place.

INSTALLATION NOTE -

The faucet and drain ttings may be installed on your new Just bowl prior to snapping into place. Final drain and sup-

ply connections can then be made to complete the installation.

For tile or unique installations, Grip-

Rim® Plus* provides the "J" clip option,

making Just sinks compatible with any

typr of material. Apply the "J" clip in the

conventional way. Available for 3/4"

standard through 2 1/2" thick tops. If top

thickness is over standard 3/4" thick,

please specify when ordering.

WHOOPS - FORGOT SOMETHING?

Perhaps you forgot to apply the caulk and want to take the

bowl out. Don't try to pry it from the top - damage to the

countertop or the bowl rim could occur.

Reach underneath and strike the bottom corner of the bowl

sharly with the heel of your hand (don't use a hard object),

rst on one side then on the other, The bowl will popup out

of the spring clips and then can be reinstalled as explained

above.

*Grip-Rim® Plus sinks include the opportunity to use the same bowl for any counter thickness up to 1 1/2" thick by using the Just "J" Clip option.

Undermount bowls may be installed in a number of different ways. They are most commonly installed under impervious material like granite or any of the man-made solid surface materials in the market place. The installation methods vary by material and installer. Just Mfg. does not recommend any specific installation method as the finished appearance, type of material and warranty issues must be taken into account when determining the best methods for any installation.
