INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
UNDERMOUNT BOWL
Undermount bowls may be installed in a number of different ways. They are most commonly installed under imper-
vious material like granite or any of the man-made solid surface materials in the market place.
The installation methods vary by material and installer. Just Mfg. does not recommend any specic installation
method as the nished appearance, type of material and warranty issues must be taken into account when deter-
mining the best methods for any installation.
Below, we offer a number of design considerations and installation methods that are commonly used by installers.
Visual Design Options
Architects and designers commonly have a completed project appearance in mind when planning any project. This
may include how a sink appears after installation in a solid surface counter.
There are three basic design considerations for installation.
Consulation with the project designer and or end user should be undertaken to determine the desired visual ap-
pearance.
Installation Options
Installation should be made according to recommended methods by the countertop material manufacturer.
Just Mfg. Com. supplies formed clips to assist in the in the installation of the undermount sinks. When installing
undermount sinks, a seal should be established betwee nthe sink ledge and the countertop material.

Just Mfg. Co.assumes no responsility for installation of undermount sinks. Installation methods must be used that will NOT void the warranty of
counter material.
Using a cleat of same or similar
material, the installer uses epoxy
to secure the cleat and sink into
place. When solid surface materials
are used, the same material can be
poured over the rear ledge of the
bowl creating a one piece appear-
ance on the back.
Using the undermount clip supplied bu just,
installer epoxy threaded studs on the back
of the counter and attach the clips and sink.
Some may use a threaded knurled insert
inserted into holes on the counter then attach
the clip and sink.
NOTE!!!Drilling into some material may
void the manufacurer's warranty. Just
Mfg. Co. does not recommending drilling
or other fabrication methods that would
crack or void the manufacturer's warranty.
Rail installation kits are available to
mount undermount sinks. The rails
mount to the inside of the cabinet,
running in front-to-back (24" kit) in
parallel, also available for installing
left-to-right using 36" kit.
