Remote control buttons and basic functions • Insert two batteries by following the and polarities and inserting the end first. • Use AA/R6/UM-3 dry cell batteries. • If the remote control does not work properly, fit new batteries. Operating the menus (continued) You can use the DVD MENU by switch channel to VIDEO-2 or press the DVD MENU button on the remote control. See the menus location in the below table.
Picture setting COLOUR SYSTEM You can select the appropriate colour system when the picture is not clear or no colour appears. PICTURE MODE You can choose the desired picture setting with one-touch. USER AUTO → PAL → SECAM → NTSC3.58 → NTSC4.43 You can also operate this function from the menu.

Customized setting AUTO SIGNAL DETECT VNR When the DVD input signal is detected, the input mode will automatically change to VIDEO-2 and when the DVD input signal is not detected, the input mode will automatically change to RF previous input mode. DVD players: Press the “POWER ON” button on the player for signal detection. VCRs: Press the “POWER ON” button on the device, followed by the “PLAY” button, signal detection and DVD menu display. You can reduce the picture noise.
Customized setting (continued) ON TIMER BEEP You can set the TV to turn on automatically from standby mode at a set channel and time. You can use the BEEP function to alert you during AUTO SIGNAL DETECT, Al ECO SENSOR Detect, Stereo Detect, ON TIMER/OFF TIMER operations and when some buttons on the remote control are pressed.
