Symptom Remedy/Cause
Bluetooth ( for KW-AVX838/KW-AVX830)
• “ Bluetooth ” is not shown in <AV Menu>. Check whether the Bluetooth adapter (KS-UBT1) is
inserted correctly.
• Bluetooth device does not detect the unit. • Check whether the Bluetooth adapter (KS-UBT1) is
inserted correctly.
• Search from the Bluetooth device again.
• Reset
the unit. When “Open...” appears on the
monitor, search from the Bluetooth device again.
• The unit does not make pairing with the
Bluetooth device.
Enter the same PIN code for both the unit and target
device. If the PIN code of the
device is not indicated on
its instructions, try “0000” or “1234.”
• Echo or noise occurs. Adjust the microphone unit position.
• The unit does not response when you tried to
copy the phone book to the unit.
You may have tried to copy the same entries (as
stored) to the unit.
• “No BT Dongle” appears on the screen. Bluetooth adapter (KS-UBT1) is removed. Insert the
Bluetooth adapter again or select another playback
source.
• “No Audio Device” appears on the monitor. Connect this unit and the Bluetooth audio player
correctly.
• “No Voice Device” appears on the monitor. The connected mobile phone does not have the voice
recognition system.
Bluetooth (for KW-ADV793)
• “ BT Phone ” or “ BT Audio ” is not shown in
<AV Menu>.
Check whether the Bluetooth adapter (KS-BTA200) is
connected correctly.
• Bluetooth device does not detect the unit. This unit can be connected with one Bluetooth cellular
phone and one Bluetooth audio player
at a time.
While connected to a device, this unit cannot be
detected from another device. Disconnect currently
connected device and search again.
• The unit does not detect the Bluetooth device. • Check the Bluetooth setting of the device.
• Search from the
Bluetooth device.
• The unit does not make pairing with the
Bluetooth device.
• Enter the same PIN code for both the unit and target
device. If the PIN code of the device is not indicated
on its instructions, try “0000” or “
1234.”
• Select the device name from <Special Device>,
then try to connect again. (

• “NEW DEVICE” cannot be selected for “
BT
Audio
.”
Bluetooth audio player is already connected. To select
“NEW DEVICE,” disconnect it. ( 47)
• “Reset08” appears on the screen. Check the connection between the adapter and this
unit.
