Set the following recording options as
required.
A Press we to select the desired option.
B Press rt to select the desired setting, then press
ENTER.
“REC MODE” (
墌 pg. 48, “Recording Speed”) (墌 pg. 50,
“Free Rate Function”), “DAILY/WEEKLY” (in the right
column, “Daily/Weekly Rec Function” ), “NAME”
(
墌 pg. 66, “Modify Programme Name”), and “STOP” (To
advance/go back the stop time by 30 minutes, press and
hold rt).
● VPS/PDC recording is not available with this unit in your
country.
F
Access the confirmation screen.
Press ENTER.
G
Complete timer programming.
Press ENTER.
● To programme another timer, repeat steps B – G.
● If “PROGRAM OVERLAPPED” appears on the TV screen, see
“When programmes overlap each other” (
墌 pg. 60).
H
Engage the unit’s timer mode.
Press # (TIMER). The unit turns off automatically and
“#” appears on the front display panel.
● To disengage the timer mode, press # (TIMER) again.
NOTES:
● There may be cases that G-CODE Timer Programming
recording function prolongs the stop time of the programming.
● The beginning of a programme may not be recorded. Also, if
the 1st programme’s recording stop time and the 2nd
programme’s recording start time is the same, the ending of the
1st programme may not be recorded.
● If the copy limited programme is received during
timer-recording, the unit enters Record Pause mode.
Recording starts again if it is switched to a recordable
broadcast during the time you programmed.
Daily/Weekly Rec Function
You can record programmes with one of the following weekly/
daily timer settings.
Satellite Receiver Users
To timer-record a satellite broadcast using the G-CODE
system:
A Perform “G-
CODE
TM
/SHOWVIEW
TM
Timer Programming”.
B Set the satellite receiver to the appropriate channel before
the selected programme begins.
C Leave the satellite receiver’s power on.
WEEKLY Select to record a weekly programme.
MON–FRI Select to record a daily programme from
Monday through Friday.
MON–SAT Select to record a daily programme from
Monday through Saturday.
SUN–SAT Select to record a daily programme from
Sunday through Saturday.
