Changing the Setting menu

Display setting
1 In stop mode, press [SET UP].
2 Select “Advanced Setting Menu”
using [Cursor U / D], then press
[ENTER].
If it has already appeared, proceed to step 3.
3 Select “Display” using
[Cursor U / D], then press [ENTER].
4 Select the desired item using
[Cursor U / D], then press [ENTER].
OSD Language (Default: English)
Set the OSD language.
See page 17 for details.
FL Dimmer (Default: Auto)
Set the front panel display brightness.
Select a setting using
[Cursor U / D], then press [ENTER].
You can choose one from “Auto”, “Bright” and
“Dark.”
If “Auto” is selected, the display gets dark when
the power is off.
Screen Saver (Default: 10 minutes)
Set the screen saver time delay.
Select a setting using
[Cursor U / D], then press [ENTER].
Your setting is activated.
5 Press [SET UP] to exit.
Audio setting
Choose the appropriate Audio settings for your audio
equipment.
This will only affect DVDs playback.
1 In stop mode, press [SET UP].
2 Select “Advanced Setting Menu”
using [Cursor U / D], then press
[ENTER].
If it has already appeared, proceed to step 3.
3 Select “Playback” using
[Cursor U / D], then press [ENTER].
4 Select the desired item using
[Cursor U / D], then press [ENTER].
Note
• The Dynamic Range Control function is available
only on discs recorded in the Dolby Digital format.
Digital Out
Set the digital audio output.
Select a setting using
[Cursor U / D], then press [ENTER].
Proceed with either of the following steps.
Select a setting using
[Cursor U / D], then press [ENTER].
Your setting is activated.
48kHz: If your amplifier / decoder is NOT compatible
with 96 kHz PCM, select “48kHz.” Sound
recorded at 96 kHz is down sampled to 48
kHz.
96kHz: If your amplifier / decoder is compatible with
96 kHz PCM, select “96kHz.” Sound is
sampled at 96 kHz.
