This receiver provides DVD MULTI Playback Mode for
reproducing the analog discrele output mode of the DVD player.
Before playing back a DVD, refer also to the manual supplied with
your DVD player.

You can adjust DVD MULTI Playback Mode while playing back a
DVD with analog discrele output mode on a DVD player.
Once you have made adjusmaents, the receiver memorizes the
ac[justments until you change them.
You also need to set the DVD player to the analog discrete output
mode.
Betbre you start, remember...
There is atime limit in doing the following steps, lfthe setting is
canceled before you finish, start from step 3 again.

1 Press DVD MULTI. [_

When you select "DVD MULTI"as the source to play, Surround
mode is canceled, and the SURROUND ON/OFF and
SURROUND MODE buttons do not work:
2 Select the analog discrete output mode on the
DVD player, and start playing a DVD.

SURROUND MODE buttons do not work,
2 Select the analog discrete output mode on the
DVD player, and start playing a DVD.
• Refer to the manual supplied with the DVD player.
If you need to make any adjustment, go to the
following steps.
3 Press SOUND.
l0 keys are activated for adjusting the sound.
4 Adjust the speaker output levels.
• '1i)adjust the center speaker level, press
CENTER +_ ( I0 to +10).
• '[k) adjust the left rear speaker level, press
REAR•L +/- (-10 to +10).
'[k) adjust the right rear speaker level, press
REAR•R +_ ( 10 to +10).

3 Adjust the speaker output levels.
I) Press ADJUST repeatedly until one
of the following indications appears
on the display.
A_US_
REAR L : To adjust the left rear speaker level.
2) Press CONTROL UP A/DOWN • oz#_.%
to adjust the selected speaker
output levels (-10 to +10). _>
3) Repeat steps l) and 2) to adjust the other
speaker output levels.
